Ridotto, concerts "with a Touch of Theatre", presents "Flow not so fast, ye fountains". The Elizabethan period in the 1600s was distinguished by an unrivalled flowering of music and theatre. John Dowland, Thomas Morley, and Thomas Campion were composers of some of the most beautiful songs ever written. Scenes from Shakespeare's 'As You Like It' are woven into a delightful program. With Philip Anderson, voice, and a consort of viols, lutes and keyboard. Sunday October 3 at 4 pm.
