MUSIC DIVINE will repeat its NYEMC concert of 10/20 as a benefit for the Teaneck Peace & Justice Coalition at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Teaneck, NJ. The program is "Early Renaissance Treasures: the Dawn of Classical Music" featuring music of Josquin Desprez and Heinrich Isaac.
We will perform a composite mass using movements from Josquin's Missa Une mousse de Biscaye, and Isaac's Missa Een vrolic wesen. The program will also include a 6-voice motet by each and Thomas Tomkins's Music Divine.
Admission is by free-will offering, with a suggested donation of $15.
