Guiot de Provins

(c.1145 - after 1208)

Trouvère. In the service of the Dukes of Champagne in Provins, and may have gone to the Holy Land on one or more Crusades. His six surviving songs date from c.1180. He later became a Cluniac monk and wrote two satires on contemporary morals.
