Nicholas Vallet

French lutenist. He lived in Amsterdam from 1613 and published two volumes of lute music containing fantasias, preludes, dances (often based on themes also used by the English virginalists) and transcriptions of English, French and German songs. He also produced two volumes of psalms for voice and lute.
