Diego Pisador

Spanish player of the vihuela. His father was in the service of the Archbishop of Santiago, and he took minor orders in 1526. His Libro de Música (1552) contains Spanish, French and Italian secular songs and motets arranged for voice and lute, fantasias in both polyphonic and improvisatory styles, and lute arrangements of eight Josquin Masses.
