Spanish composer. Maestro de capilla at Barcelona cathedral from at least 1538, and was also adviser on matters concerning organs to all the Catalan cathedrals, and a noted organ teacher. He was regarded as one of the leading Spanish composers of the day; his surviving works include a volume of madrigals to Spanish, French and Italian texts, pieces in the Flecha ensalada collection, a dramatic 3-part Lamentations setting and some dignified organ tientos.
