English composer. Two keyboard works in a MS he compiled now in the Fitzwilliam Library, Cambridge, once owned by John Bull. Probably identical with the William Tisdall who is represnted in the Fitzwilliam Virginal Book. Other keyboard works published in a modern edition by Stainer & Bell.
