John Banister (Bannister, Bannester) ("The Younger")

English musician and music publisher. Musician in Ordinary for violin; member of the "24 Violins" troop 1679-1736. Theater musician in London from some time in the 1690s through the 1720s. Noted as a violinist and recorder player.
