English violin player. From some time in the 1670s through possibly 1686, with the Duke's Theatre Company (London). Violinist to the King (1671-75?). Violinist in King's Private Music (1679? – 1688?). Was awarded the degree of BMus by Cambridge in 1684. Extant works: Judgment of Paris (1702)
