English composer and organist. From 1728 until his death he was organist at the abbey at Bath. He was active in concert life and managed a music shop as well. He published in London Six Suites of Lessons, harpsichord (1734); twelve English Songs (1744); and two sets of Six Concertos for harpsichord and orchestra (1756, 1765).
